Monica Crolle

Monica was born and raised in eastern NC. She met her husband, John (J), through a mutual friend while attending Meredith College. John was stationed in the USMC at Camp Lejeune at the time. They dated all through college and married in 1996. They have lived in Raleigh, Atlanta, Greenville, NC, and recently moved to Durham in 2017 for a job change for John. The triangle has always felt like home, and they are ecstatic that God has placed them back in the area.

Monica received her Bachelor of Nursing from Emory University, and Master of Nursing from Duke University. She has worked in the nursing field for over 15 years specializing in the areas of neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, and pediatric primary care. She stopped working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner while pregnant with their youngest child to homeschool and become a full time stay at home Mom.

Monica has a passion for working with children. She has worked in children’s ministry as a teacher and volunteer for many years at their previous church in Greenville, NC. She feels children are truly a gift from God, and considers it a privilege and honor to work with children through healthcare and ministry. She is thrilled to embrace the children of Trinity Park.

Monica and John have 4 children: Jake, Mitchell, Max, and Ella Kate. Though they keep her quite busy, her “free time” includes sewing, felting, painting, knitting, and pretty much anything that involves glue or glitter.
