Joe Jackson

Joe was raised in Yardley, PA, and completed College and Medical School at the University of Virginia.  He moved to Durham in 2004 for his Pediatric Residency at Duke University.  His earliest recollection of hearing the good news of Jesus Christ came while singing in his church youth choir.  Joe finds refreshment and joy in the simple moments around the piano, singing his prayers to God.  He seeks to live a life of worship as he engages his family, the local church body, and his patients.   

Joe & Kisa met during their first week of college and spent much of their time in college serving together as leaders of the University’s gospel choir.  Joe continues to experience some of his sweetest moments in worship when Kisa is singing Alto beside him at the piano! Kisa and Joe continue to worship God together and are now joined by their six children, who are also learning to make a joyful noise to the Lord!    

Joe enjoys proclaiming the gospel in song and is grateful for an opportunity to serve as Worship Leader and Elder for God’s people at Trinity Park Church.
