Corey Jackson
Corey was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and attended Auburn University. After graduating in 1998, he moved to China where he studied Mandarin and served as a missionary with a campus organization. While ministering in Asia he began dating Olivia. They returned to the U.S. and were married in the summer of 2000.
After spending their first year of marriage in Keystone, Colorado working on the ski slopes, Corey and Olivia returned to China for three years where Corey led a city-wide ministry. During these years, Corey and Olivia helped start two new campus ministries, planted an indigenous church and served on a regional leadership team.
They returned to the U.S. in 2005 for Corey to attend graduate school at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando where he received his Masters of Divinity. After finishing his studies at RTS, Corey served two years at Peace Presbyterian Church as an Assistant Pastor. Then, in the spring of 2010, Corey was sent out to plant Trinity Park Church.
Corey loves to preach the gospel of Jesus in a way that engages the hearts and minds of Christians while at the same time keeps the doors wide open to all the people of our community. He is also passionate to see leaders raised up to serve Christ and his Church from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
